Orbit (from the kitchen to my room) exhibited at the Project Space at The Newbridge Project in Newcastle.

Orbit is a duo show with Sajil Kaleem reflecting on the ritualistic routine of being immersed in the fiction of your own mind. We wish to question our collective desire for direction -- What does it mean to belong in a romanticized age of yearning? Is it simply this state of yearning we are chasing?

Sajil and I have been collaborating over the distance between two cities, and we wanted to delve into where our practices converge: a mutual longing for a far removed home. Orbit is a preliminary prototype exhibition of sorts, to test out our work together in a physical space.

Over the course of this show, we held an on-site art sale alongside drawing workshops to raise money towards Palestinian aid. We decided to keep the momentum going by selling work online:
